MAHAL2000 has created a new program – MAHAL in a Tel-Aviv Journey – which

is aimed at Jewish young adults of 18-24 from all over the world who wish to be exposed to the values and culture of Israel before volunteering to serve in the IDF.

The program consists of a 5 months pre-military term which includes academic courses on Hebrew, Zionism, Judaism and the State of Israel, as well as tours around the country and much more.

Our mission is to strengthen the volunteers’ personal Jewish identity and their connection to the Jewish people, to enhance the solidarity among world Jewry and to diminish the growing division between Israel and the Jewish communities.
