The MAHAL 2000 program has 3 sessions every year, which start in February, June and October.

 

The MAHAL 2000 program is open for volunteers from all branches of Judaism.

Non-Israeli volunteers (tourist status): those who are not Israeli citizens, and whose parents are not Israeli citizens (have never held Israeli citizenship nor lived in Israel permanently).

 

Israeli volunteers coming from overseas: those who have Israeli citizenship but were born outside Israel or left it before the age of 10, or whose one parent (at least) is an Israeli citizen. They are eligible for the program as long as they don't make Aliya to Israel.
